1. Beyond the Memories (2013)

This film tells the story of Kanna (Nagasawa Masami) who is friends with Haruta (Kengo Kora). Both live in a small town, their friendship is perfect without any problems at all. But everything changed when they were 15 years old.

Their feelings change when they are teenagers, but an accident makes Kanna have to be separated from Haruta forever. As time goes by, Kanna then meets Roku (Masaki Okada) who has the same problem as her. When he was in elementary school, a girl who was with Roku died so he was burdened with guilt until now.

2. Senior and Her (2015)

This film is about Rika Tsuzuki (Kyoko Yoshine), a girl in the 1st grade of high school. Rika falls in love with her senior, Keigo Minohara (Jun Shison). But Keigo himself actually puts his heart on another girl, namely Aoi Okita (Riria).

Rika’s feelings continued until she entered college. This film is based on the popular manga by Atsuko Nanba.

3. My Teacher (2017)

My Teacher is a Japanese romance film that involves a love story between a teacher and a student. Focusing on Shimada Hibiki (Hirose Suzu) who has never been in love in her life, she has a crush on her teacher, Kosaku Ito (Toma Ikuta).

The innocent and naive Hibiki immediately confessed her feelings to Ito. Meanwhile, Ito, despite having the same feelings for Hibiki, remains professional as a teacher and limits himself as an adult.

4. Flying Colors (2015)

Flying Colors tells the story of a girl named Sayaka Kudo (Arimura Kasumi) who has blonde hair and below-average academic abilities. Even though she is in high school, Sayaka’s academic ability is only that of a 4th grader.

But Sayaka then meets a teacher named Yoshitaka Tsubota (Atsushi Ito). Tsubota was the only person besides Sayaka’s mother who had ever praised her. Sayaka also becomes active in studying and tries to pass the college entrance exam at Keio University.

5. Revenge Girl (2017)

This film tells the story of Miki Takaraishi (Kiritani Mirei), a bright and charming 24-year-old girl. Even so, Miki’s personality isn’t that great. Miki is said to like Yuga Saito (Sho Kiyohara) who comes from a family of politicians.

Having been dumped by Yuga, Miki also wants to take revenge by running for prime minister. During the campaign, Miki hires Toshiya Kadowaki (Nobuyuki Suzuki) as an advisor.…
